Eagle Eyrie Identity and Graphics

Eagle Eyrie Baptist Conference Center
New Brand Identity and Other Graphics
Description of Project: Eagle Eyrie Baptist Center was updating their graphics to reflect a refreshed branding. The logo was designed by a local Lynchburg agency, and my task was to format the logo with other new graphics for the center.

Taking the information provided within the new logos, I chose a concise color palette that resembled the colors in the logo, chose similar typefaces for other elements, and created a pattern from the icon.
After creating a clear identity, I began to work on the identity package with a business card, letterhead and envelope, all using the new logo provided to me. The business card is generic so employees can customize it as necessary.
The identity package includes a letterhead and envelope design that showcases the brand elements clearly throughout. Eagle Eyrie's information is easy to read and access. The identity package looks clean and professional.
I also created a series of three postcards with the new logo. The images used are photos of the property/facility at Eagle Eyrie. The image styles go together but each is different.
This is the banner design that I illustrated as a welcome banner next to the front door of the main office. This was inspired by the stained glass that appears in the Chapel on the campus. This is an example of mixing the old with the new, savoring the character of the organization, while breathing new life into its visuals.
I was also tasked with creating a flyer for summer employment. I included some imagery from the campus and illustration in fun colors that grab attention. The flyer also includes a QR code with more information.
I created a style guide for future designers to reference in order to maintain a consistent brand. The style guide includes rules for imagery, type, color, etc.
